SSL Settings for cPanel

1. LetsEncrypt AutoSSL Provider

Install the official LetsEncrypt AutoSSL plugin for cPanel/WHM with one command:

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/install_lets_encrypt_autossl_provider

Next, navigate in WHM to Manage AutoSSL and choose Let's Encrypt as your default certificate provider.

2. FleetSSL Integration

FleetSSL comes pre-licensed with our cPanel licensing package. Activate FleetSSL automatically:

RcLicenseCP -fleetssl

3. Auto-Renew Hostname SSL Certificates

To force validation and renewal of valid SSL certificates on the server hostname:

Port Security & SSL Connections

Always access cPanel and WHM over HTTPS with a valid hostname rather than an IP address:

Verify LiteSpeed Workers & Core Count

Check the number of active LiteSpeed worker threads spawned by the license manager:

ps aux | grep litespeed

The number of (lshttpd - #XX) processes indicates your licensed core limit (e.g. 2 cores, 4 cores, 8 cores, or Web Host Elite).
